Biographical Information

"Businessman Issad Rebrab has his fingers in a lot of pies. Not only is he the founder of one of Algeria’s biggest companies, Cevital, but he is known to be building a giant industrial complex worth an estimated $20bn. Rebrab, who has an enviable reputation in the country, is believed to control a significant portion of the sugar and vegetable oil markets in Algeria though his companies, so much so that when protests erupted in Algeria last year, the magnate was able to voluntarily drop prices further than the government had required."
