Dr. Isaac Adler (Early Physician who noted Lung Cancer as rare disease.
By 1900, after development of the Bonsack cigarette rolling machine, lung cancer had become the most common organ cancer in men. Soon there were so many such incidents that in 1912, Adler published book about the phenomenon called "Primary Malignant Growths of the Lung a Bronchi." Dr. Adler wrote that "primary malignant neoplasms of the lung are among the rarest forms of disease." (E. Whelan 1984).
