The Iraqi Trade Corp. (ITC), according to its web site, "opened its doors in Baghdad, Iraq in 1988 and continued to do business in this region until today. ITC represents a number of International companies in Iraq and Saudi Arabia; In the same time it represented Iraqi governmental industries abroad, mainly Al-Qaddissiyah State Enterprise for Electric Industries (a transformer manufacturer)." ITC describes itself as "a diversified company supporting the industrial development and the reconstruction efforts in Iraq, providing distribution channels, electro-mechanical & civil contracting, and logistical support to international manufacturers and contractors."
