International Film Festival on Human Rights

"In Geneva, Human Rights Watch co-founded the International Film Festival on Human Rights (FIFDH) in March 2003. Its goal is to “establish a dialogue between the various worlds of film, academia, and field workers in touch with political decision-makers.” The FIFDH has a central concept: each movie deals with one topic and gives rise to a debate. Since 2004, HRW hosts a special event by showing a film selected for its connection to the organization’s work and organizing a debate including several of its experts." [1]
