Icon Communications
Icon Communications is a Sydney-based public relations company best known for its work for Sharman Networks, the owner of the file-sharing software, Kazaa.

While Icon are not a defendent in the case their records were obtained to use as evidence in the case against Sharman Networks.
"The Kazaa revolution; 30 years of buying the music they think you should listen to, 30 years of watching the movies they want you to see, 30 years of paying the prices they demand, 30 years of swallowing what they're shovelling, 30 years of buying crap you don't want, 30 years of being sheep. Over with one single click, peer to peer, we're sharing files, we're changing the world. Kazaa is the technology, you are the warrior. 60 million strong and rising. Join the revolution," one document read out in court stated.[1]
Amongst the documents obtained under subpeona was one titled 'Friends and Foes', assessing the coverage of journalists according to whether it was "positive" "neutral" or "negative".
