Ian Chesterman is the director of the Kenya Horticulture Competitiveness Program (KHCP) a five-year program of the U.S. Agency for International Development in Kenya that began in 2010.
- "Ian Chesterman has 30 years of agricultural experience in Africa. He has managed market, production and processing divisions at major farms including Fisher-Vegpro and Exotic Farm Produce in Kenya, and Mitchell & Mitchell in Zimbabwe. He has vast experience in input supply development, irrigation, smallholder training for horticulture supply chain inclusion, packhouses, and environmental and quality standards. He recently served as a deputy chief of party for USAID- Ethiopia’s Agribusiness and Trade Expansion Program."[1]
