IZA

IZA "is a private, independent research institute, which conducts nationally and internationally oriented labor market research. Operating as a non-profit limited liability company, it draws financial support from the research-sponsoring activities of the Deutsche Post Foundation. Dr. Klaus Zumwinkel, CEO of Deutsche Post World Net (German Postal Service), holds the position of IZA President. Prof. Dr. Klaus F. Zimmermann heads the institute as IZA Director.

A number of renowned economists involved in specific research projects cooperate with IZA, either internally or on a "virtual" basis.
