He has been a Member of Supervisory Board at Volkswagen AG since April 22, 2010. He serves as a Director of Gulf Investment Corporation. He served as a Director of Cargolux Airlines International SA since September 8, 2011. He served as a Director of the Qatar Financial Centre Authority. He served as a Director of Islamic Bank of Britain plc until April 2005. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the Bradford University, United Kingdom."
