Howard M. Sheridan
"Howard M. Sheridan, M.D. is an original founder and currently serves as Chairman of Edison Bancshares, Inc. He previously served on the Advisory Board of Southeast Bank, N.A. He was a founder and served as a director and member of the Executive Compensation and Loan Committee of Heritage National Bank from 1989 to 1996. Dr. Sheridan has practiced interventional radiology and diagnostic radiology in Fort Myers, Florida from 1975 to 2004. He is a graduate of the Tulane School of Medicine and currently serves as the Chair of the Tulane University School of Medicine Board of Governors. Dr. Sheridan was an undergraduate at the University of Florida and is a current member of the U of F Chemistry Leadership Board. He is the past Chief Executive Officer of Radiology Regional Center and past president of the Medical Staff of Southwest Florida Regional Medical Center. Dr. Sheridan was one of the founders and served as chairman of Radiation Therapy Services Inc. until 2008. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the Florida Medical Association, and the American College of Radiology. He was also the founder of the “Fort Myers Wrestling Kids Club,” a youth wrestling organization for elementary and middle school children. Additionally, Dr. Sheridan is a co-founder and Vice President of 21st Century C.A.R.E., a non-profit dedicated to cancer patient assistance, cancer research and cancer education."[1]
