Biographical Information
"Hiroo Saionji is President of the World Peace Prayer Society, a non-profit international organization founded in Japan in 1955 with international headquarters in New York and Munich, Germany. The World Peace Prayer Society is dedicated to promoting peace and world citizenship through spiritual awareness and non-denominational prayer. "May Peace Prevail on Earth."
"Mr. Saionji is the great-grandson of Prince Kinmochi Saionji, who was twice Prime Minister of Japan during the Meiji Period.
"Mr. Saionji holds a Masters in Business Administration and was an executive with the Nippon Seiko Company, International Division, from 1974 through 1986. He has been President of the World Peace Prayer Society since 1988. His wife, Masami Saionji, is Chairperson. " [1]
