Harvey M. Tettlebaum is a member of the law firm Husch & Eppenberger, LLC in Jefferson City, Missouri. Tettlebaum was re-elected as President of the Republican National Lawyers Association in December 2004 and had served on the RNLA's Board of Directors since 1992, as First Vice-President from 2002-2003, and as President since May, 2003. Harvey M. Tettlebaum is a "dedicated member of the Missouri Republican Party, acting as Treasurer from 1977-2004." In December 2004, he was "serving as the Party's outside general counsel. Mr. Tettlebaum was Regional Chair of Lawyers for Bush-Cheney '04, Inc.

"After graduating from Washington University School of Law in 1968, Mr. Tettlebaum served as the school's Assistant Dean from 1969-70. He received a Masters in history from Washington University in 1968 and earned an A.B. from Dartmouth College in 1964. After leaving Washington University, he served as Assistant Attorney General under John Danforth for eight years operating as Chief Counsel of the Consumer Protection and Anti-Trust Divisions of that office.

"Mr. Tettlebaum is an active member of the American Bar Association's Health Law, Administrative Law, and Antitrust Law sections; the American Health Care Association; and the Missouri Health Care Association. He is an affiliate of the American Health Lawyers Association (Vice-Chair of the Long Term Care and the Law Program, as well as Past Chair of the Long Term Care Substantive Law Committee). Mr. Tettlebaum is also a member of the Missouri Bar Association (Past Chair of the Administrative Law Committee, Past Vice-Chair of the Health and Hospital Law Committee, Vice Chair of the Delivery of Legal Services Committee, and Vice Chair of the Missouri Statewide Legal Services Committee)."
