"Hambledon Vineyard was established in 1952 and is England's oldest commercial vineyard... The Vineyard was planted by Major General Sir Guy Salisbury-Jones who became the founding president of the English Vineyards Association. We consider Sir Guy to have been a critical figure in the renaissance of English wine production. Wines from Hambledon were served on the QE2, in the Houses of Parliament and in British Embassies around the world."[1]

"Ian Kellett is Managing Director of Hambledon Vineyard plc. Hervé Jestin leads our wine making process... Andrew Christie-Miller is Chairman of Hambledon Vineyard plc, John Armit (founder of Armit wines) and Martin Robinson are non-executive directors of Hambledon Vineyard plc." [2]
