Biographical Information
"Hala al-Karib is an activist for women's and human rights in the Horn of Africa. She has been the Regional Director of the Strategic Initiative for Women in the Horn of Africa (SIHA) since 2004. She has also worked as a gender and community development specialist and researcher in Sudan and other countries in the Horn of Africa with various regional and international agencies." [1]
