Gretchen Dykstra

Gretchen Dykstra, former head of Times Square Business Improvement District is married to Nathan Leventhal. [1]

"Dykstra was appointed President and CEO of the World Trade Center Memorial Foundation in April 2005. . She and her team are responsible for raising the funding for the memorial, and will ultimately oversee its operations.

"Gretchen Dykstra resigned after just over a year as president of the World Trade Center Memorial Foundation. Critics said she failed to raise enough money, just over $130 million in a year for a memorial that is budgeted at close to $1 billion. In her resignation statement, Dykstra remarked, "Perhaps it would help if there was one less player." [2]
