Graham Thomson

"From a farming background in the North Midlands of Western Australia, Graham Thomson spent 20 years in the mining industry in the Pilbara prior to moving to Kalgoorlie in 1990. He has had significant experience working with Indigenous people in both locations, and has played a leading role in assisting the establishment of Indigenous businesses.

"Graham is the Chairman of the Goldfields Esperance Development Commission and a Councillor of the Kalgoorlie-Boulder City Council.

"He is also Chairman of LMS Ministries Limited, which provides emergency accommodation and housing for mentors and chaplains in the community, and Chairman of Regional Chaplaincy Services, which providing chaplaincy services to the mining & related industries.

"Graham is the managing director of the National Reconciliation Forum, an annual forum to promote practical reconciliation." [1]
