Graham Mather (b. 1954) is President of the European Policy Forum.
A lawyer, he has served as head of Policy Unit, Institute of Directors and General Director, Institute of Economic Affairs (1988-1992). From 1994 to 1999 he was MEP for Hampshire North and Oxford, during which time he sat on the European Parliament's Economic & Monetary Affairs Committee.
When at the IEA, Mather "endured an uncomfortable tenure as he fought a guerilla war with the 'old guard' about the appropriate role that the IEA should play in the new, post-Thatcherite era of politics. He was forced to resign in 1992." [1]
He is also a consultant to Tudor Investment Corporation, a director of Greenham Common Community Trust and a trustee of the Pelican Cancer Centre.
