Gracie Close

Gracie Close "is a founder of Tierra Learning Center and currently serves as its board chair. Tierra is a retreat center near Leavenworth, WA. In the Cascade Mountains, that serves as a resource for progressive, nonprofit groups and social change activists who seek a place of natural beauty and quiet for reflection and renewal (see www. tierralearningcenter.org). Gracie was the founding director of the Pacific Peace Fund and later co director of Peace Development Fund. She has also been an active, long-term member of the Social Justice Fund (formerly ATR) and is finishing up her final year on that board this month."
