Government Relations Australia
Government Relations Australia (GRA) is a large Australian lobbying firm.
GRA was formed in 1992. It describes itself as being at the forefront of Australia's government relations sector and draws from both major political parties.
Its directors include former Liberal NSW minister Michael Yabsley and former Labor federal treasurer John Dawkins.
GRA's website promises potential clients that the firm can most likely "involve the direct decision-maker" in government.
Part of its "service offerings" include "counsel on proposed bills and existing legislation that a client may either be seeking to promote, amend or oppose".
The website says: "As we pursue a legislative, policy or regulatory outcome, our proven approach is likely to involve the direct decision-maker as well as a range of government, parliamentary, departmental agency, industry and other stakeholders." [1]
