Global Country of World Peace

"The Global Country of World Peace was inaugurated by His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi on 7 October 2000.The Global Country of World Peace has come about as the result of Maharishi’s Worldwide Movement, which was established in 1957. The Global Country of World Peace and its affiliated Movement organizations, with approximately 1,200 teaching centres in about 120 countries, have a charitable non-profit status almost everywhere, and are offering a wide range of courses, services and programmes.

"On 12 October 2000, Professor Tony Nader, MD, PhD was crowned as the first ruler of the Global Country of World Peace at MERU Holland. His title Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam means that he is the first in a succession of global administrators in the tradition of Raam, the ideal of Nature’s perfect administration."

"Funding for the Global Peace Initiative is being organized by the Brahmananda Saraswati Foundation, a 501 (c) 3 organization in the United States with generous donations from around the world from those who would like to support the establishment of permanent peace. (see Global Endowment for Peace). The Global Peace Initiative is being implemented in India by Maharishi Ved Vigyan Vishwapeetham Trust."
