Global Commission to Fund the United Nations
Writing in 1998, Hazel Henderson notes: "In 1994, I launched a civic group with friends and allies in many countries, the Global Commission to Fund the United Nations. The Global Commission functions as a virtual organization, with members from over forty countries, ranging from ambassadors, parliamentarians, and a Nobel Laureate, to leaders of civic organizations."
