Glenn Armocida
Glenn Armocida of Oakmont, Pennsylvania, is a member of the Board of the Riverview School District [1], with his 4-year term due to expire in 2009. [2]
In 2005, the League of Women Voters queried school board candidates and, at the time, Armocida identified his political party as "Democrat and Republican". [3] However, for U.S. presidential election, 2004, Armocida supported the Bush-Cheney ticket. [4]

Swiftboating John Murtha
In a letter published July 21, 2006, by the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, Armocida wrote:
- "Murtha's recent conduct does not strive for honor, nor is it honorable. I have read and pondered his various statements of dissent regarding our current operations in Iraq. His arguments are specious and based upon partisan politics rather than on any comprehensive military strategy or a sensible wartime foreign policy.
- "I believe Murtha's position is rooted in an odious disregard of President Bush and a desire for his own 15 minutes of fame rather than on something more thoughtful and defendable."

According to his 2003 National Association of Christian Financial Consultants (NACFC) profile, Armocida "attended the University of Pittsburgh as an English Writing major while building a freelance writing career. Glenn left college to become a technical writer for a global technology firm. In 1991, he decided to blend his writing experience into a new career in financial services and build an investment advising practice. He incorporated Armocida Capital Management in 1996 in Oakmont, PA, which now serves 200 clients.
"Glenn has opened, managed and supervised OSJ branch offices for two broker/dealers, and is currently an OSJ branch manager and general securities principal for Atlas. Glenn provides compliance supervision duties and services to a group of Atlas registered reps in western Pennsylvania and eastern Ohio. He also recruits independent reps.
"Glenn is charter member of the Pittsburgh chapter of the NACFC. He has served on the boards of directors of St. Paul Homes in Greenville, PA and the former Allegheny-Kiski Life Underwriters Association. Glenn has been involved a variety of ministries in his church and as a leader with his local Cub Scouts/Boy Scouts troops since 1996."
In December 2003, Armocida was appointed managing director of the Allegheny Valley Bank of Pittsburgh and "based at the bank's Lawrenceville headquarters." [5]
