Gina M. Brown
Gina M. Brown, M.D. "is an obstetrical specialist at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. She was the first Medical Director for Cicatelli Associates Incorporated, a non-profit organization that provides training and technical assistance specifically in the areas of HIV and women’s health to health care providers. As an Assistant Professor of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology, at the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Columbia University, Dr. Brown was the Women’s Health Director of the Women and Children Care Center at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. She served as the Chair of the NIH Office of AIDS Research Advisory Council (OARAC) for 2004 and chairs the OARAC Women and Girls working group. She was a member of the New York City HIV Planning Council where she served as Chair of the Health Work Group. She also is a member of the Board of Directors for Iris House: a Center for Women Living with HIV, and is on the National Medical Committee of Planned Parenthood Federation of America." [1]
