Get Kids in Action is a nutrition program created by the public-private partnership of Gatorade, owned by PepsiCo, and the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. Like many nutrition programs created or sponsored by food companies, the focus of the organization is on physical activity more than food choices to draw attention away from the unhealthy products made by these companies.[1]
