Gerd Schulte-Hillen
Gerd Schulte-Hillen "is a member of the Board of Advisors of Veronis Suhler Stevenson. Mr. Schulte-Hillen became Vice Chairman of the Board of Berliner Verlag when VSS and Mecom acquired the business on November 30, 2005. Previously, Mr. Schulte-Hillen had been CEO of Gruner + Jahr and also served as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Bertelsmann AG and as Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Bertelsmann Foundation. Mr. Schulte-Hillen began his career at Bertelsmann in 1969 and served in various capacities at Bertelsmann and Gruner + Jahr over his 34 year career at these companies. Mr. Schulte-Hillen's also serves on the Board of Directors at of the Koteret School of Journalism and Communication in Israel and as Surpervisory Board member of Hamburg-Mannheimer Versicherung AG. Mr. Schulte-Hillen received a degree in mechanical engineering and industrial economics. Mr. Schulte-Hillen lives in Hamburg, Germany." [1]
