Biographical Details

"Gerard Munera, a US citizen, studied at the French premier Ecole Polytechnique, graduating in civil engeneering. He worked 6 years for the French government, first as a structural engineer at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Development and then as an economist at the Ministry of Economy. He then turned to mining and metals with tenures of different lengths at some of the largest companies in that field. From 1968 on his successive assignments were at Executive VP, CEO and/or Chairman level. SInce 1995, he has been running his own holding company, Synergex Group LLC, which has a 51 % interest in Arcadia Inc., an important manufacturer of building materials headquartered in Los Angeles as well as investments in gold mining, biometrics and health care. He is Chairman of Arcadia Inc., of Sicat LLC and of Compania Minera Zamora (all private companies) and serve on the Boards of Dynamic Materials Company, Nevsun Resources Ltd and MagIndustries. He joined MagIndustries BOD in November 2003." [1]
