He has served as lead counsel in two highly successful major trials in Europe in the last five years.
"In addition to over 30 years of private and public law practice in New York and Washington, D.C., George has held several positions in government, including law clerk to a U.S. District Court judge in New York, counsel to a Special Inquiry of the U.S. Senate Ethics Committee, and associate independent counsel in the district. George has also served for 20 years as counsel, executive committee member, and board member of the International Rescue Committee, a prominent international refugee relief agency.
