"George Cowcher is Chief Executive of East Midlands Camber (EMC) which is the second largest Chamber of Commerce in the country with over 3,800 Members and a further 8,000 Affiliate Members... In November 2011 EMC won the British Chambers of Commerce prestigious “Chamber of the Year” Award. George is a Chartered Town Planner. Before moving to Derbyshire he was Chief Executive of the North East Chamber of Commerce and before that worked for the South West Regional Development Agency and One Northeast."
