"Deputy MD of Nuclear Management Partners (Sellafield), George has spent 25 years in a variety of roles in the UK nuclear industry, including two previous spells at Sellafield. He has been involved at Sellafield, Capenhust, Reactor Sites, Aldermaston and Nirex during his career and has a broad knowledge of the whole UK nuclear sector. During that time George has developed an in depth understanding of the workings of central Government. He has also played a part in the socio-economic development of the areas in which he has worked, including being a Founding Director of the Cumbria Inward Investment Agency (now Invest in Cumbria). More recently he has become involved with the CBI and is currently a member of the CBI Council for the North West. George has lived in West Cumbria for 25 years and is firmly committed to the development of the county which he considers home." [1]
