Geoff Wescot

Geoff Wescott "was originally trained as a (marine) ecologist and then in nature conservation and environmental policy. He is an Associate Professor of Environment at Deakin University, Melbourne. An ACF member since 1973, he is a former Director of the Conservation Council of Victoria (Environment Victoria). He has been Chair of the Victoria National Parks Advisory Council, Deputy Chair of the Parks Victoria Board, member of the Victoria Coastal Council. Geoff is a Fellow of the Environment Institute of Australia. Geoff is a member of the National Reference Group of the Marine and Coastal Community Network and represents the network on the National Ocean Advisory Group."
