"Appointed a director in December 2004 and became Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer on 2 May 2005. Geoff joined OneSteel in October 2000 from BHP after 22 years with the group. His previous roles with OneSteel were Deputy Managing Director and before that Executive General Manager Market Mills. His roles at BHP included President Rod & Bar Products (BHP Steel), General Manager of the joint venture company Bekaert' BHP Steel Cord, President of Australian Logistics Services in BHP Transport and management positions in BHP wire operations. He is a director of the International Iron and Steel Institute."
