Genetically Engineered Low Linoleic Acid Soybeans are genetically engineered soybeans with less linoleic acid than conventional soybeans. Low linoleic acid soybeans can also be produced through conventional breeding. Monsanto makes a genetically engineered Roundup Ready low linoleic soybean (MON 87705), deregulated in the U.S. in 2011. They are sold under the brand name "Visitive Gold."[1]
