"Gary L. Krauthamer was born in the Bronx, New York, to parents who emigrated from Eastern Europe during World War II. He quickly learned how leaders can positively or negatively impact their communities and the world on a grand scale.

"After Krauthamer graduated from American University’s Kogod School of Business with a degree in finance, he founded Krauthamer & Associates, an executive search firm that has placed more than 4,500 senior executives throughout the United States and Western Europe. He is also a partner in the Palo Alto based investment fund, Virgo Investment Group.

"Krauthamer began serving on Omega’s board of directors more than 30 years ago as a representative for Pir Vilayat Inayat Khan. In his principal investing, and in his work with Omega and Krauthamer & Associates, Krauthamer strives to identify, develop, and invest in the leaders of tomorrow." [1]
