Gary D. Cohn
Gary D. Cohn "has been a President and Co-Chief Operating Officer and director of Goldman Sachs since June 2006. Previously, he had been the co-head of Goldman Sachs’ global securities businesses since January 2004. He also had been the co-head of Equities since 2003 and the co-head of FICC since September 2002. From March 2002 to September 2002, he served as co-chief operating officer of FICC. Prior to that, beginning in 1999, Mr. Cohn managed the FICC macro businesses. From 1996 to 1999, he was the global head of Goldman Sachs’ commodities business. Mr. Cohn is not on the board of any public company other than Goldman Sachs. He is affiliated with certain non-profit organizations, including as a member of the Treasury Borrowing Advisory Committee of the Bond Market Association and as a trustee of the Gilmour Academy, NYU Child Study Center, NYU Hospital, NYU Medical School, Harlem Children's Zone, Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School and American University.“ [1]
