"Executive Director of By the People, an initiative of MacNeil/Lehrer Productions (M/LP), which uses public television to spur citizen dialogue around foreign affairs; previously served as President of the Federation of State Humanities Councils. Prior to that she was Director of Cambridge Forum, in Cambridge, MA, and principal of Strategic Business Consultants, an international business consultancy. A lawyer by training, Ms. Leftwich is a former chair of the Massachusetts Foundation for the Humanities and was a Radcliffe College Public Policy Fellow.“ [1]
