G-77, which is most commonly referred to simply as the G-77 which represents 130 countries in the United Nations forums[1] is an active participant in United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change negotiations for an agreement beyond the 2012 expiry date of the Kyoto Protocol.

In the negotiations, China has aligned itself with the G-77 to the extent that the G-77 is often referred to as G-77/China.
