Frank Z. Ashen
Frank Z. Ashen, according to his New York Stock Exchange biography (as of September 26, 2003), "is executive vice president of the New York Stock Exchange.
"Mr. Ashen, 59, is responsible for overseeing the NYSE's human resources division, including the Exchange's overall human resources strategy. He is also the NYSE's chief ethics officer and has responsibility for security, arbitration, the NYSE's hearing board and administration. Mr. Ashen is a member of the NYSE's management committee.
"Mr. Ashen earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from New Jersey State College. He has also completed the Harvard Advanced Management/International Program.
"Mr. Ashen is chairman of the Board of the Better Business Bureau, vice chairman of Junior Achievement of New York and a Board member of the Ethics Officer Association, the NYPD Centurion Foundation, and Westside Crime Prevention (New York City). He is also on the Editorial Board of HR Advisor magazine and is frequently published. He is a member of the New York State Business Council and the Securities Industry Association's Diversity Committee. Past board associations include the NAACP, the National Conference of Christians and Jews, and the Business Advisory Councils of the Lower Eastside Service Center and Murry Bergtraum High School.
