Frank Lanau was a British Occupational Hygienist and a close associate of George B Leslie and Professor Roger Perry who ran the Associates for Research on Indoor Air (ARIA) pseudo-scientific society, and the equally dubious conference organisers Indoor Air International (IAI) for the tobacco industry. Lanau was involved in running these sham associations and conferences, and he was also associated with Leslie in the control of the British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS).
