The Flexible Land Use Alliance is an industry coalition arguing against the inclusion of forests in existence before January 1 1990 from the propose New Zealand Emissions Trading Scheme.
The domain name for the alliance was registered on February 19, 2008 by a representative of "Matthew Hooton Ltd".[1] (The New Zealand Companies Office (NZCO) has, as of July 2008, no current listing for Matthew Hooton Ltd.[2]). However, the NZCO records that the PR company Exceltium, which was founded in August 2005, was previously known as "Matthew Hooton Limited" and that the name of the company was changed on January 10, 2006.[3]
