Five College African Scholars Program
The Five College African Scholars Program "is dedicated to supporting the research of individual scholars in Africa, strengthening partnerships among scholars in Africa and the United States, and enriching the study of Africa...
"The Five College African Scholars program does not currently offer fellowships but encourages African scholars applying for Fulbright or other fellowship programs to contact our program about selecting one of the five colleges as their host institution." [1]
"From January 2003 to December 2007, the African Scholars Program welcomed 37 scholars from African universities representing 15 African nations. With the generous support of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Smith College, the program offered fellowships to African scholars for four-month residencies at one of the five colleges." [2]
