Biographical Information

"Sufi Mystic Fida Hassnain was born in Srinagar , Kashmir in 1924. He is the recipient of several degrees and awards from various universities and institutions of India, Japan, Switzerland , Germany and Mexico. He started his service career as Professor in 1953 and retired as Director of Archives, Archaeology, Research and Museums in 1980. He came into contact with the Buddhist Shamans of Ladakh ( Western Tibet ) in 1960 . Since then, he has continued his association with Fakirs, Sadhus, Jogis, Yogis, Sanyasins, Dervishes, Monks, Ocults and Sufis.

"He was initiated into Sufism by Madam Hayat Boumann the Mystic a disciple of Pir-o-Murshid Inyat Khan. He completed various Chillas and Sufi practices , under the guidance of Murshid Abubabaji of Ootacamund. He was further groomed by Sheikh Muzaffar Ozak Al-Jerrahi of Istanbul. He is associated with the Occult Foundation, Calcutta, OISCA-International, Tokyo,the Temple of Understanding, New York, Sri Aurobindo Ashram, New Delhi, Swami Gitananda Yoga Centre, Pondicherry, World Congress of Faiths, London, Hazrat Inayat Khan Sufi Centre, New Delhi. Sufi Master Fida Hassnain is a spiritual healer and conducts Sufi Therapy Workshops in the Dynamic Psychiatry Hospitals in Germany.
