The Fairbanks Institute was founded with a $10 million grant from the Richard M. Fairbanks Foundation and a $500,000 grant from the Guidant Foundation. [1]
The Fairbanks Institute is "a research collective that will conduct a long-term predictive health study dedicated to building health communities in Indiana and the nation." [2]
"Based in Indianapolis, Indiana, the Fairbanks Institute utilizes comprehensive patient medical data, surveys and biologics (blood products) to help predict, prevent and treat disease." [3]
