Ezra Dempsey Alford was a Brown & Williamson Physical Chemist and a witness for the Defense in tobacco cases.
Biography
Ezra Alford worked for Brown & Williamson as a Senior Scientist Assistant in the Research, Development & Engineering (RD&E) Department from 1966-67. He also worked in Physical Chemistry and Spectroscopy in the RD&E Department in 1970. He worked in Spectroscopy in the RD&E Department in 1972-73, 1976 , and 1979. He was the Supervisor of Physical Chemistry in the RD&E Department in 1977. He was Research Chemist in the RD&E Department in 1980-81 and 1983-84. Alford was a Senior Research Chemist II in the RD&E Department from 1986-88.(Source: Brown & Williamson Personnel List - Draft, 11/30/88)
