Erin Callahan
Erin Callahan "is the Western Regional Director of Amnesty International, USA. She has fifteen years of management, communications, development and field experience with human rights and social justice organizations and political campaigns. Ms. Callahan previously served as Amnesty International's Associate Director of Communications. Previously, she served as the Policy and Communications Director for World Hunger Year, and as the Regional Director of Women in Community Service. Ms. Callahan has extensive experience with presidential and statewide political campaigns, serving as press secretary for Clinton/Gore 1992, 1996 in California and Communications Director for Gore/Lieberman 2000 in Ohio. She also served on Capitol Hill as Communications Director for U.S. Senator Barbara Mikulski. In addition, she was a lecturer at Cornell University, School of Industrial and Labor Relations, a trainer for the National Democratic Institute's visiting delegations from Eastern Europe, and a fundraiser for RFK Memorial Center on Human Rights."
