Eric Wanner, President of the Russell Sage Foundation.
In 1986 "Eric Wanner, a social psychologist and vice president at the Sloan Foundation, is appointed president of RSF. The Foundation launches several new research initiatives, redesigns the Visiting Scholar program to permit open application and to foster collaborative groups, and overhauls the book publishing program to give the Foundation’s research wider distribution and greater public impact."
