Eric Criss
Eric Criss is Vice President of Corporate Affairs for Century Strategies.
According to Criss's Century Strategies' biography, "Eric manages Century Strategies rapidly expanding list of corporate and public affairs clients. With more than 12 years of political experience, Eric has an in-depth knowledge of how to best utilize grassroots tools such as paid and earned media, direct mail and phone banks on behalf of Fortune 500 companies. By combining these tools with effective grasstops programs, Mr. Criss has successfully managed federal and national issue campaigns, as well as state legislative battles from Sacramento, California to Montgomery, Alabama.
"Eric previously managed government affairs for Intermedia Communications Inc., a telecommunications and Internet company with one billion dollars in annual revenue. He also worked with hundreds of campaigns representing the interests of thousands of business owners for the National Federation of Independent Business.
"In 1994, while serving at the National Republican Senatorial Committee, Mr. Criss assisted in electing a Republican Majority to the United States Senate and helped Senator Phil Gramm and the Republican minority defeat the William Jefferson Clinton plan to socialize America's health care system. Working with US Senators such Paul Coverdell and Rick Santorum, he criss-crossed the country, setting up health care forums featuring hospital CEOs and Members of Congress in cities such as Boston, Des Moines and Pittsburg.
"In addition to his extensive experience lobbying business issues and developing coalitions, Eric has served as staff member or consultant to gubernatorial, presidential and congressional campaigns. Just a few of his past clients include the Progressive Conservative Party of Canada, Governor Paul Cellucci, the National Republican Congressional Committee and the Association for Local Telecommunications Services.
