Emmett Carson
Emmett Carson "is President and CEO of the Minneapolis Foundation, one of the oldest and largest community foundations in the United States. Under his leadership since 1994, the Foundation has increased total assets from $186 million to over a half billion dollars. Carson also serves as President of Community Loan Technologies, a Foundation subsidiary that manages national and statewide lending programs to nonprofit organizations. Carson serves on the boards of directors of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota, the University of Minnesota's Humphrey Institute of Public Policy, and the Minnesota Council on Foundations. He also is Chair of Board of Directors of the Council on Foundations.
