Emerdata is a “data processing, hosting, and related activities" firm registered in the United Kingdom. It was established in August 2017 and is closely related to SCL Group and its subsidiary, the now-defunct Cambridge Analytica. It is backed by the family of Robert Mercer family and his daughters Rebekah and Jennifer are on the company's board of directors.[1]
