Emerald Energy Plc is a UK based company engaged in the exploration and production of hydrocarbons. Following the recommended cash acquisition, under the Scheme of Arrangement that became effective on 12 October 2009, and the subsequent delisting of the Company’s shares from the London Stock Exchange on 13 October 2009, the Company became a wholly owned subsidiary of Sinochem Resources UK Limited, a member of the Sinochem Group.
