The Embodiment Foundation, founded by Wendy Palmer and Tiphani Palmer, lives in San Rafael, California. "In 2012, We undertook our first outreach project in partnership with the Fetzer Institute. The project mission was to offer the LE skill set model to a cross section of underserved, up and coming black and colored leaders in the Cape Town region of South Africa." [1]

Research

"Humans and other animals express power through open, expansive postures, and powerlessness through closed, constrictive postures. But can these postures actually cause power?" This was the question asked by 3 researchers from Colombia and Harvard University in an article called Power Posing: Brief Nonverbal Displays Affect Neuroendocrine Levels and Risk Tolerance, Dana R. Carney, Amy J.C. Cuddy, and Andy J. Yap. The answer was yes – "…a person can, via a simple two-minute pose, embody power and instantly become more powerful…" [1]
