The Honourable Elly Karuhanga LLB
In addition to his role as a director of IBI Corporation, "Mr. Karuhanga is also IBI’s legal counsel in Uganda. As such he is involved in certain corporate activities, such as joint ventures, which the Company expects to undertake in Uganda as well as in anticipated exploration and mining license acquisitions. He also serves as a director of the Company’s Ugandan operating subsidiary, Canmin Resources Limited. In addition, he is Chairman of the Uganda Chamber of Mines and Petroleum. Mr. Karuhanga’s extensive background includes: current President of Tullow Oil Uganda; two terms as a Member of Parliament of Uganda; Senior State Attorney in the Ministry of Justice; and Advocate of the Court of Appeals and Supreme Court of Uganda."
